NEWBORN SESSIONS
You will be welcomed into my home studio in the beautiful Yarra Valley, where you will be able to sit and enjoy a cuppa as I take care your little cherub for a couple of hours.
My style is organic, simple and natural.
I do have some wraps to compliment and style your images, but I like to keep your baby as the focus, creating photographs that are timless in their simplicity.
Newborn sessions are done when baby is between 5 and 10 days old (preferably 5-7 days).
This is the prefect time as they are nice and sleepy, cuddly and curl up just like they were in the womb.
It is never too early to book a newborn session, because the sessions are held within the first few weeks it’s important to book in while your still pregnant. We will set a temporary date prior to your babies arrival to be confirmed once they are earth side.
Your session is baby led there is no rush, I take time and care to capture all of the little things that make you baby unique, this means a session can take anywhere from 2-4 hours.
The room temperature for newborn sessions is kept very warm to ensure that your baby remains relaxed, comfortable and sleepy. As it will be quite warm, I recommend that you come dressed in light layers, so you are also comfortable.
